No Child Left Behind: Cost and Benefits
Mathis looks as the original proposed costs of NCLB and compares it to how much has actually been spent. He looks at the issue of the government putting forward a goal that is not obtainable. Mathis states that he is worried that the American people expect the goal to be met when there is no way the government can do that on their current budget of spending.
