NCLB Guidance

Regulatory guidance is additional information developed by the US Department of Education that "guides" states and school districts about areas of NCLB that may require additional information and/or clarity. Technically, "guidance" does NOT carry the weight of law, but frequently by default, it becomes the substitute for the law in areas where the law may be silent or ambiguous. Please find under this section, the areas of policy guidance developed by the US Department of Education. This guidance should be used in conjunction with the Action Briefs.
