National Civic League

The National Civic League works directly with communities to foster cross-sector collaboration and grassroots problem solving. NCL's Community Services Teams help equip communities with tools and skills that, when combined with unique partnerships, can build civic leadership and citizen participation, and create community change. The Teams provide technical assistance to communities of all sizes by convening individuals with diverse perspectives from across the community and working with them to plan and address community challenges.

The Community Services Teams offer several resources that help build an infrastructure for community visioning and planning, including community leadership, consensus building, and a civic index. (See the Community Services section of NCL's Web site.)
