Jonathan Stearns is the Managing Director at Pinebridge Capital Partners. He has over 20 years of experience in private capital investments in a variety of industries, capital structures and stages of development in companies located in the US, Western Europe, and Asia. Pinebridge Capital Partners, Inc. invests in companies that are in the Incubation, Seed/Startup and Early Venture stages. Prior to Pinebridge, Mr. Stearns was a Managing Director of AIG Global Investment Group, New York, where he was responsible for sourcing, evaluating, executing and managing private capital investments on behalf of AIG and its subsidiaries. From 1994 to 2005 he served as Director and Managing Partner of private equity investment programs at Abbott Capital and Equinox Investment Partners, a private capital investment company. Mr. Stearns received his BA in history and political science from the University of the South and studied economics and politics at the graduate school of Cornell University.
